Streamed Fish with Spring Onion and Ginger



Ingredients:

1 (about 200 g) catfish fillets
2 stalks, spring onions, Shredded
2" ginger, Shredded
2 red Chili, Shredded
1 tbsp rice wine
1 tbsp soy sauce
a pinch of salt

Direction:
  • Clean the fish, and wiping with salt.
  • Place fish in a shallow heatproof bowl that will fit inside a steamer basket.
  • Pour rice wine and soy sauce over fish, then sprinkle with half ginger, Spring onion, red Chili.
  • Steam the fish for 20~25 mins. (I steamed with a rice cooker)
  • When fish is ready, remove from steamer, place on top with another half of ginger, Spring onion, red Chili.
